We met Michael Webb at Herb Gordon Nissan until they closed. We lost contact with him until we went to Jim Coleman Infinit and there he was. He's such a nice guy to talk, very personable and tells you like it is. Which is something rare now days at dealers. But, it was fortunate reconnect with him and then they turned Ininiti into Nissan and my partner and I were looking at a Rogue. Which at first we were looking at them at Ourisman Nissan in Laurel. But they were giving us the run around and all the xxxx that came with it and their staff. We went back to Michael and he introduced us to our salesmen Richard Okogun and he was very knowledgeable, professional and aware of our needs in what we wree looking for. I will say that the environment was comforting, quiet and well kept and all the staff spoke and conversated with you/us about anything. They made us feel at home and that's something dealers have forgotten over the years. Ed Henry was our business manager and he gave us good advice that we would've never thought of. The whole time purchasing our Rogue SL was cool if I may say. I'm planning on making a purchase myself soon and I'm very sure that I will be going back to see Michael/Richard and Ed for a Pathfinder. By far the one of the best car buying experience in my years of buying cars. From the get go, the team of Salesman were very professional. I wanted a 2015 or 2016 Sorento and i got a call from a Toyota and i explain to them that I am Kia person and that i did not want to change to a toyota person so he told me that he have someone for me so that when Ramel call me and Ramel ask me what i wanted i told him i wanted to trade my 2014 optma in to try to get a Sorento and Ramel said no problem i got you. So i said well i dont believe it but any way I went and i got what i wanted i got a 2016 sorento the color and everything i want to say thank you to Ramel at jim Coleman dealership.
I went in to Kia of Silver Spring for an oil change and for a check engine light. I was greeted by Teddy and was very polite and professional and listened to what I requested. While waiting for the service to be completed Teddy informed I should replace my air filter and cabin air filter by showing me the old ones that definitely needed replacing. They also fixed the wastegate problem that was causing my service light. Very fast and thorough service and even washed my car. Excellent service!
No games, no fake pricing just straight up honesty. I searched the web looking for a new Sorento but all the prices I got were fake. I requested quotes on a 2015 Kia Sorento from multiple dealers online. Almost immediately I received a few emails explaining why I should use a particular sales rep or why I should go to a particular dealer. A few minutes later, at about 7:30 p.m., I got a call from Eugene at Kia of Silver Spring. He was very calm, polite and helpful without applying any pressure. At first I wasn't sure what to think about getting a call like this, but within moments I could tell that I had found a great guy to work with. He offered suggestions and was genuinely interested in my wants and needs. I explained that financing was crucial to this deal, so he research my options and emailed me to confirm the available financing options. The next day I went to buy a new car, got a fair trade in on my truck, and I was absolutely thrilled. Theo, the Sales and Finance Director, and Tim, the General Manager, were fantastic as well, and they both were very welcoming and appreciative. I went car shopping at the closest Kia dealer (Jim Coleman) for the first time in almost 16 years when my car was totaled. A lot had changed in 16 years and I was a little bewildered by all the choices and packages now available in new cars. The salesman (Majic Masoudpour) was excellent at explaining the various options. He didn't talk down to me but explained things in a way that this non-expert (when it comes to cars) could understand. He was also very friendly, personable and yet non-pressuring while helping me. I did some research online and came up with a better understanding of what I wanted - including the somewhat hard-to-find UVO system, an uncommon color, etc.. I let Mr. Masoudpour know what I wanted, and he was able to quickly find it north of Baltimore and have it driven down to Jim Coleman. The dealership gave me a good price, which incorporated the price I found using help from Consumer Reports, plus a a veterans discount, since my husband/car co-owner had served in the military. When I went to pick up the car, it had been prepared for me (the seat was adjusted and set for someone with fairly short legs, for example), and Majic and a co-worker helped me set up the UVO system right then and there (favorite satelite stations, phone pairing, etc.) I am not a very technical person, and my last car was very manual, so I appreciated not having to read the manual and set up everything by myself. When my license plates came in, I expected to have to do that myself, but Majic immediately went to get tools to put those on for me. I felt I received excellent customer service from Majic, the person who help with the UVO system, Terry and Tim. There was no pressure to buy, and no overly enthusiastic sales pitches, just good, attentive customer service. Overall, the experience was much easier than I expected, and I believe I got a fantastic car without spending as much as I would have if I had purchased another Toyota or a Honda. (I looked at both of these on the same day I went to Jim Coleman). I love my car, and definitely recommend Jim Coleman (and Mr. Masoudpour) if you are looking for a new Kia.
I went to get my 2014 Kia's first oil change at this dealer. In the past I've gone to my nearby Shell station but I thought I'd splurge and give the Jim Coleman service center a try. I made an appointment online to set up a date, they called me within a few hours of my request and set me up for a Saturday afternoon. It turned out to be one of the best experiences I've had not only at a dealership but for service in general. Teddy was genuine, kind, and incredibly thorough. Not only did they change my oil, they checked my tires, fluids, and brakes all included in the price. They noticed one of my windshield wipers was broken and replaced free of charge. Teddy and the crew went above and beyond to care for my car, all the while I enjoyed a complimentary cup of coffee in their comfortable lobby. Just to top it off, they gave me a coupon for a complimentary car wash to the place across the street. All in all, the few extra dollars I spent getting an oil change here were more than worth it. I will no doubt be coming back to them for service in the future. Great value and excellent customer service!
